DAY 2 | SEPTEMBER 19TH

Arrive in Cusco + Fire Ceremony

We will fly from Lima to Cusco and travel to the Sacred Valley and settle into our hotel Casitas Arcos Iris. Along the way we will stop at a breathtaking overlook in the Andes Mountains and partake it an ancient Cocoa Leaf Blessing Ceremony led by our resident local Shaman who will travel the journey with us.

We will end the night with a welcome fire ceremony to set our intentions for the trip, harmonize the group, and release anything that is no longer serving us to prepare for our journey ahead.

Day 3 | SEPTEMBER 20TH

Visit Moray + Despacho Ceremony

We will spend the morning "in the Earth's Womb" at archaeological and sacred site MORAY.  Here, in the very womb of the Earth, we will partake in Kundalini Yoga and meditation as well as experience a Despacho ceremony performed by an authentic Q´ero shaman.  Moray is an archaeological site with concentric agricultural terraces, some as deep as 150 meters and considered to be a place where the Incas grew large variety of crops.

In the Andean tradition, important beginnings very often involve a ceremony called a Despacho. In its purest form, a Despacho ceremony is an expression of love and gratitude and will initiate the beginning of our time spent in the Sacred Valley. In a Despacho ceremony, a beautiful prayer bundle is assembled as an offering to the Earth, the Apus (mountain spirits,) the stars, the waters. You are welcome to bring a personal item to offer to Pachamama (Mother Earth) as part of the ceremony.

Day 4 | SEPTEMBER 21ST

Visit Pisac Ruins + Kuti Energy Clearing Ceremony + Pisac Market Shopping

We will spend the day exploring the ancient archeological ruins of Pisac. The Inca archeological site is considered one of the best-preserved in Peru. Within the site, you can find a residential settlement, ceremonial baths, and the largest Inca cemetery in South America and it's surrounded by numerous agricultural terraces that blend harmoniously with the landscape.

With the help of a local Shaman, you will experience a Kuti energetic cleansing ceremony. This ceremony helps to open and align the chakras to promote harmony in your life.

Negative energy is released, and it give us the opportunity to begin again pure in spirit and in harmony with everything around us.

After we explore this sacred site, we will visit the city center of Pisac where a bustling Market awaits. From vibrant textiles, to hand woven clothing, to exquisite silver jewelry - you will find everything you need to bring home from Peru.

Day 5 | SEPTEMBER 22ND

Ollantaytambo Temple of the Sun + Power of the Heart + Sweat Lodge Ceremony

After breakfast, we will head to the sacred site of the Temple of the Sun. We will gather at the base for a guided meditation and for those that wish, a climb to the top.

For lunch, we will visit "The Power of the Heart" - a local farm and non-profit organization led by our guide Cristian, with the help of Mary. Over the years they have partnered together to provide the local children organic food who have been historically malnourished due to the high altitude climate.
We will all present donations like clothes and educational materials to the children. This is a very special day where families travel hours to greet us and offer a traditional meal in our honor.

After dinner, we will participate in an evening Sweat Lodge Ceremony to prepare for our journey to Machu Picchu.
Together as a group, we will breath, sing and meditate with the help of a local Shaman. Inside of the lodge is constructed with local wooden branches and lined with medicinal eucalyptus plant leaves to help aid in breathing.

Day 6 | SEPTEMBER 23RD

Train Ride to Aguas Calientes + Free Afternoon

After breakfast we will take the train from the town of Ollantaytambo to the town of Aguas Calientes (literally "hot waters" or "hot springs"), which sits at the base of the mountain that leads to Machu Picchu. Once settled into our hotel we will have time to explore Aguas Calientes.

The scenery along the ride is stunning! It looks like something out of Jurassic Park and, even better, it takes just 90 minutes to get there. Once we arrive and check into our hotel you will have a free afternoon to take a nap, visit the hot springs, hit up a happy hour or wander the streets and shops. We will end the day with a group dinner before getting a good night sleep before an epic day.

Day 7 | SEPTEMBER 24TH

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca site located 7,970 ft. above sea level. The Incas built the estate around 1450, but abandoned it a century later at the time of the Spanish Conquest. Although known locally, it was unknown to the outside world before being brought to international attention in 1911 by the American historian Hiram Bingham. Since the site was not known to the Spanish during their conquest, it is highly significant as a relatively intact cultural site. Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide Internet poll. (Wikipedia)

Machu Picchu is considered one of the "Sacred Places" on Earth by shamans and spiritual masters alike. The materials of Machu Picchu are composed of approximately 40% quartz crystal, and literally shine in the full moon, which is why the locals call it "The Crystal City". The location of this sacred site is important as it is located within concentric circles of mountains, and around its base flows the waters of the Wilkamayu River that eventually flows into the Amazon River. In the Andean shamanic tradition, water is a great purifying force. Machu Picchu was constructed in complete harmony with the physical and cyclical aspects of nature.

"The most important spirit in the Andes is the Apus or the mountains. The Apus represent the Hanac Pacha or the upper sphere and act as antennae to other dimensions. There is an inner and outer ring of mountains which act as guardians and create a power circle with Machu Picchu at the centre. Each of these mountains has special properties and energies. To those who come with a clear and pure intent these ancient mountains will open up and share their energetic powers with you." -Mosaic Mind, Body and Spirit Magazine

Day 8 | SEPTEMBER 25TH

Free Day in Cusco

Cusco is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in the western hemisphere and is of major historical importance. Cusco was more than just a capital city to the Incas and the millions of subjects in their realm. It was a Holy City, a place of pilgrimage with as much importance to the Quechuas as Mecca has to the Muslims. Every ranking citizen of the empire tried to visit Cusco once in his lifetime; to have done so increased his stature wherever he might travel.

You will have a free day to explore the markets, get a massage or take a chocolate class at the Cocoa Museum. In this 2hr hands-on workshop, you’ll do all the handcraft cacao process, you’ll experience what the Maya offered to the gods, and you will go on through the history, with the Conquistadores and the industrial revolution. At the end, you’ll take home the chocolates that you’ll have made with a selection of over a dozen toppings.

Day 9 | SEPTEMBER 26TH

Rainbow Mountain

Rainbow Mountain is one of the 5 most beautiful mountains in the world because of the colors it has, and is also listed by National Geographic magazine as one of the 100 most visited places in the world. The unique appearance is due to volcanic activity in the region which creates individual layers rich in specific minerals based on time periods. Tectonic activity is slowly pushing the earth up and revealing the spectacular red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet hues underneath.

Our Rainbow Mountain Tour from Cusco starts early morning to ensure we are one of the first to arrive at the top of the Mountain and avoid the crowds. Along the 4 hour trip, we will stop for breakfast before continuing on. Once we arrive at Rainbow Mountain, we will hike to the lookout point and take in the stunning view.

We will stop for lunch before making the trek back to Cusco where we will arrive in time to refresh and catch dinner together.

Day 10 | SEPTEMBER 27TH

Fly to Lima + Early Farewell Dinner + Fly Home

We will end this epic trip with a morning flight back to Lima where we will spend the day exploring the Miras Flores district before heading to an early farewell dinner at the renowned Huaca Pucllana restaurant. We will then head to the airport together for our late evening flights back home.
